REL: 11/28/90 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. NS-2103 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA ADDING SECTION 41-20 TO THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE AND AMEND- <br />ING SECTION 41-424.5 TO PERMIT AUTO- <br />MOBILE SERVICING FACILITIES IN THE <br />C5 USE DISTRICT SUBJECT TO THE ISSU- <br />ANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION l: That the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended <br />by adding a section, to be numbered 41-20, which said section reads <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 41-20. Automobile servicing. <br /> <br /> Automobile servicing is the servicing and minor repair of <br />motor vehicles, including the replacement of belts, hoses, <br />batteries, tires, shock absorbers, oil and air filters, <br />chassis lubrication, air conditioning servicing, wheel <br />alignments, replacement of brake pads, and engine tune-ups. <br /> <br />SECTION 2: That section 41-424.5 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 41-424.5. Uses subject to a conditional use permit in the <br /> C5 district. <br /> <br />The following uses may be permitted in the C5 district subject <br />to the issuance of a conditional use permit: <br /> <br />(a) Hotels, motels, lodging houses, care homes, fraternity <br />houses, and sorority houses. <br /> <br />(b) Dwelling units when erected above the ground floor of a <br />commercial structure when the ground floor is devoted <br />exclusively to nonresidential uses. <br /> <br />(c) Hospitals. <br /> <br />(d) Public utility structures, including electric distribution <br />and transmission substations. <br /> <br />(e) Eating establishments with drive-through or walk-up window <br />service. <br /> <br />(f) Service stations and automobile servicing. <br /> <br /> <br />
