<br />24(1 ORDINANCE NO. NS-2116 <br /> <br />(4) No face shall project more than four feet from the <br />wall to which it is attached. <br /> <br />(5) No face shall exceed seven feet in vertical <br />dimension. <br /> <br />[ <br /> <br />(d) Ilesiqn. <br /> <br />(I) Sign copy area shall not exceed 50 percent of the <br />sign face. <br /> <br />(2) The design of any projecting sign shall be <br />architect-urally compatible with the building on <br />which it is located. <br /> <br />(3) No projecting sign shall be wholly or partially <br />illuminated by unshielded lighting of any type, <br />including exposed fluorescent or incandescent <br />bulbs, except exposed neon. No sign shall use <br />mirrors reflecting a direct light source or utilize <br />flashing, blinking or sequenced lights. <br /> <br />(4) Projecting signs shall be for identification of the <br />business(es) or use(s) located on the site subject <br />to the following: <br /> <br />a. The sign shall have no more than five words <br />describing products, services or brands <br />available on the premises where the sign is <br />located in addition to the business <br />identification. <br /> <br />b. The sign shall not advertise or display the <br />name, brand name or manufacturer's name of any <br />product, article or service, unless these <br />names are included in the name identifying the <br />business. <br /> <br />Sec. 41-865. Marquee signs. <br /> <br />No permit shall be issued for a marquee sign which does <br />not comply with the following standards: <br /> <br />r <br /> <br />(a) Location. <br /> <br />No more than one sign shall be permitted on-each side of <br />a marquee and any such sign shall be in lieu of wall, canopy <br />or projecting signs to which such business would otherwise be <br />entitled under this division. <br /> <br />10 <br />
