NS- 2137 r AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ADDING DIVISION 25 TO ARTICLE III OF CHAPTER 41 OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO ESTABLISH THE SP (SPECIFIC PLAN) DISTRICT, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE BRISTOL CORRIDOR TO THE SO DISTRICT AND THE Rl DISTRICT, ADOPTING SPECIFIC PLAN NO. 90-1 FOR THE BRISTOL CORRIDOR, AND ADOPTING SPECIFIC PLAN FOR STREET ALIGNMENT NO. 55 FOR BRISTOL STREET BETWEEN WARNER AVENUE AND SANTIAGO CREEK. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That Article III of Chapter 41 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding a division, to be numbered 25, which said division reads as follows: DIVISION 25. SP (SPECIFIC PLAN) Sec. 41-592. Applicability ot SP (specific Plan) division. The provisions of this division shall apply to all property within a district which has been designated as SP (Specific Development) and for which a specific plan has been adopted by ordinance. The provisions in such a specific plan shall control the use and development of property in the SP district to the same extent as if set forth in full in this division. The provisions of this chapter which apply to the use and development of property generally in the city shall apply to property in the SP district except to the extent otherwise provided in the applicable specific plan. Sec. 41-592.1. purpose of SP District. The purpose of the SP district is to provide for the orderly implementation of adopted specific plans. Sec. 41-592.2. Uses permitted in the SP District. No use of property is permitted in the SP District except those uses stated in the applicable specific plan to be 1
