NS- 2137 <br /> <br />r <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ADDING DIVISION 25 TO <br />ARTICLE III OF CHAPTER 41 OF THE SANTA <br />ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO ESTABLISH THE SP <br />(SPECIFIC PLAN) DISTRICT, REZONING <br />CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE BRISTOL CORRIDOR <br />TO THE SO DISTRICT AND THE Rl DISTRICT, <br />ADOPTING SPECIFIC PLAN NO. 90-1 FOR THE <br />BRISTOL CORRIDOR, AND ADOPTING SPECIFIC <br />PLAN FOR STREET ALIGNMENT NO. 55 FOR <br />BRISTOL STREET BETWEEN WARNER AVENUE AND <br />SANTIAGO CREEK. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That Article III of Chapter 41 of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding a division, to be <br />numbered 25, which said division reads as follows: <br /> <br />DIVISION 25. SP (SPECIFIC PLAN) <br /> <br />Sec. 41-592. Applicability ot SP (specific Plan) division. <br /> <br />The provisions of this division shall apply to all <br />property within a district which has been designated as SP <br />(Specific Development) and for which a specific plan has been <br />adopted by ordinance. The provisions in such a specific plan <br />shall control the use and development of property in the SP <br />district to the same extent as if set forth in full in this <br />division. The provisions of this chapter which apply to the <br />use and development of property generally in the city shall <br />apply to property in the SP district except to the extent <br />otherwise provided in the applicable specific plan. <br /> <br />Sec. 41-592.1. purpose of SP District. <br /> <br />The purpose of the SP district is to provide for the <br />orderly implementation of adopted specific plans. <br /> <br />Sec. 41-592.2. Uses permitted in the SP District. <br /> <br />No use of property is permitted in the SP District except <br />those uses stated in the applicable specific plan to be <br /> <br />1 <br />
