NS- 2142 <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTH <br />OF SANTA ANA BOULEVARD BETWEEN ROSS <br />STREET AND BROADWAY TO THE C3 (CENTRAL <br />BUSINESS) DISTRICT AND REZONING CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF <br />THIRD STREET BETWEEN ROSS STREET AND <br />FLOWER STREET TO THE P (PROFESSIONAL) <br />DISTRICT (AA NO. 1053) <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 1053 has been filed to make <br />certain changes in the zoning district designations of certain <br />property located south of Santa Ana Boulevard between Ross Street <br />and Broadway and of certain property located on the north side of <br />Third Street between Ross Street and Flower Street as hereinafter <br />set forth; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this council, prior to adopting this ordinance, has <br />reviewed the initial environmental study prepared for this project, <br />and has approved the Negative Declaration for this project based <br />thereon; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council after duly noticed public hearing, has <br />determined that the change in use district designations proposed in <br />the abovesaid Amendment Application are justified by the public <br />necessity, convenience and general welfare; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Those parcels of real property designated in Exhibit A, <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, are hereby <br />reclassified from the P (Professional) district to the C3 (Downtown <br />Business) district. <br /> <br />2. Those parcels of real property designated in Exhibit B, <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, are hereby <br />reclassified from the R3 (Multiple-family residence) and C2 <br />(General Commercial) districts to the P (Professional) district. <br /> <br />3. Nothing herein alters the boundaries of height district II <br />as previously established. <br /> <br />4. Amended Sectional District Map number 12-5-10 showing the <br /> <br />1 <br />
