<br />~_' r_ <br /> <br />123 <br /> <br />SECTION 4: That section 41-472 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />r <br /> <br />section 41-472. Uses permitted in the M-1 district. <br /> <br /> <br />The following uses are permitted in the M-1 district: <br /> <br />(a) The compounding, processing, packaging or trea ent of <br />such products as candy, cosmetics, drugs, erfumes, <br />pharmaceuticals; toiletries, and food produ s, except <br />the rendering and refining of fats and oils <br /> <br /> <br />(b) The manufacture, compounding, assembly articles of <br />merchandise from the following prevo usly prepared <br />materials: <br /> <br />Aluminum, bone, brass, cellophane, c mel-back, canvass, <br />cloth, cork, copper, feathers, fel , fibre, fur, glass, <br />hair, horn, latex, lead, leather, 9 int, paper, plastics, <br />precious or semi precious metals stone, shell, rubber, <br />tin iron, steel, tobacco, wood nd yarns. <br /> <br />(c) The manufacture of pottery, gurines or similar ceramic <br />products using only previou y pulverized clay and kilns <br />fired only by electricity r gas. <br /> <br />(h) <br /> <br /> <br />her metal working shops. <br /> <br />(d) Foundry casting lightwe' ht, nonferrous metal. <br /> <br />(e) Petroleum and <br /> <br />(f) Planing mill. <br />(g) Machine <br /> <br />(i) sales, boat sales, and recreational vehicle <br />such operations are part of a planned <br />developmen such as an auto-mall containing at least five <br />(5) deale ships, provided that sale of used automobiles <br />is perm' ted only if incidental and subordinate to the <br />sale of new automobiles. <br /> <br />(k) nfreestanding restaurants with a total floor area no <br />arger than two thousand (2,000) square feet. <br /> <br /> <br />(j) dry cleaning establishments in conjunction <br />operation for such establishment n the <br /> <br />(l) Research, experimental or study laboratories that do not <br />generate hazardous waste materials. <br /> <br />2 <br />
