4~7~92 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. NS-2157 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. NS-1985 <br />TO INCREASE THE COMPENSATION OF <br />THE CABLE TELEVISION ADVISORY BOARD <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance No. NS-1985 added section 2-325 to <br />the Santa Ana Municipal Code, setting the level of compensation <br />for boards and commissions of the City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the level of compensation fixed by said <br />ordinance for the community Cable citizens Board is $25.00 per <br />meeting, limited to one (1) meeting per month; and <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, Ordinance No. NS-2025 reconstituted the <br />Community Cable citizens Board and renamed the Board the "Cable <br />Television Advisory Board"; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to increase the <br />compensation of the Cable Television Advisory Board to reimburse <br />the voting members by $25.00 per month as reimbursement for <br />subscriber basic television services, for a total of $50.00 per <br />month, limited to one (1) meeting per month, and to exclude <br />specifically the non-voting members of the Cable Television <br />Advisory Board from receiving compensation for attendance at <br />Board meetings. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> ' That rsec~iQn 2-325 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is <br />hereby~am~nd~d~ whic~ Sai~ section reads as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 2-325. Compensation for members of boards, commissions. <br /> <br /> The members of the following boards and commissions of the <br />city shall receive the compensation as set forth herein: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Community redevelopment commission, fifty dollars <br />($50.00) per meeting, three (3) meetings maximum per <br />month, plus twenty dollars ($20.00) per month <br />automobile allowance. <br /> <br />(b) Personnel board, fifty dollars ($50.00) per meeting. <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />Planning commission, fifty dollars ($50.00) per <br />meeting, three (3) meetings maximum per month, plus <br />fifty dollars ($50.00) per month automobile allowance. <br /> <br />(d) <br /> <br />Uniform code appeals board, fifty dollars ($50.00) per <br />meeting, three (3) meetings maximum per month, plus <br />twenty dollars ($20.00) per month automobile allowance. <br /> <br /> <br />
