ORDINANCE NS-21g2 <br />PAGE 1 ~ 0 ~ 3 <br /> <br />8-720, 8-721, and 8-722 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code are hereby <br />repealed. <br /> <br /> SECTION 26: That section 8-723 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />sec. 8-723. Expiration of pl&n review. (Section 304) <br /> <br /> Section 304 of the electrical code is amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> Applications for which no ~ermit is issued within 180 <br /> days following the date of application shall expire by <br /> limitation, and plans and other data submitted for review may <br /> thereafter be returned to the applicant or destroyed by the <br /> building official. The building official may extend the time <br /> for action by the applicant for a period not exceeding 180 <br /> days upon request by the applicant showing that circumstances <br /> beyond the control of the applicant have prevented action from <br /> being taken. No application shall be extended more than once. <br /> In order to renew action on an application after expiration, <br /> the applicant shall resubmit plans and pay a new plan review <br /> fee. <br /> <br /> SECTION 27: That sections 8-728, 8-729, 8-730, 8-740, 8-741, <br />8-743, 8-765, and 8-769 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code are hereby <br />repealed. <br /> <br /> SECTION 28: That section 8-1156 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />8-1156. Adoption by reference. <br /> <br /> There is adopted by the city that certain code known as the <br />Uniform Housing Code, 1991 Edition, together with the appendices <br />and code standards therein. The said code is adopted and <br />incorporated as fully as if set forth at length herein as provided <br />for in section 419 of the Charter of the city. Any provision of <br />this article amending the "housing code" or "Uniform Housing Code" <br />shall be construed as amending the above-said code edition <br />including such provisions enacted prior to the adoption of the <br />above-said code edition and not thereafter repealed. The above-said <br />code edition as thus amended, together with all other provisions of <br />this article, shall be known as the housing code of the City of <br />santa Ana. <br /> <br /> SECTION 29: That section 8-1226 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br /> <br />
