If the building official finds <br />that no substantial hazard will result from occupancy of any <br />building or portion thereof before the same is completed, a <br />temporary Certificate of Occupancy may be issued for the use <br />of a portion or portions of a building or structure prior to <br />the completion of the entire building or structure. <br /> <br /> (e) Posting. The Certificate of Occupancy shall be posted in <br />a conspicuous place on the premises and shall not be removed <br />except by the building official. <br /> <br /> (f) Revocatlon. The building official may, in writing, <br />suspend or revoke a Certificate of Occupancy issued under the <br />provisions of this code whenever the certificate is issued in <br />error, or on the basis of incorrect information supplied, or <br />when it is determined that the building or structure or <br />portion thereof is in violation of any ordinance or regulation <br />or any of the provisions of this code. <br /> <br /> (g) I~speotions. It shall be the responsibility of the owner <br />or occupant whose action makes necessary the issuance of a <br />Certificate of Occupancy pursuant to this section to apply to <br />the building official for the inspection of the building or <br />structure or portion thereof as necessary to obtain such <br />Certificate. Each application shall be accompanied by the <br />payment of a non-refundable application processing fee and an <br />inspection fee, which shall be refunded if an inspection <br />proves to be unnecessary, in such amounts as shall be <br />established by resolution of the city council. The building <br />official and the executive director of finance and management <br />services shall establish procedures and forms to implement <br />this subsection. <br /> <br /> (h) Prohibition against falsification. No person shall <br /> alter or reproduce a certificate of occupancy for the purpose <br /> of circum-venting the requirements of this section. <br /> <br /> SECTION 4: That section 8-170 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 8-170. Minimum roof classes (Table No. 32-A). <br /> <br /> Table No. 32-A of the building code is amended in the <br />following respects: <br /> <br /> (1) Wherever the symbol NR (Nonrated roof coverings) appears, <br /> it is replaced by the symbol C (Class C roofing). <br /> <br /> (2) Footnotes 2 and 4 are deleted. <br /> 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
