<br />The Board of Administration, Public Employees' Retirement Systellt, hereinafter referred to as Board,
<br />and Ihe governing bady of above public agency, hereinafter referred to as Public Agency, having entered
<br />into a contract effective Jtlly 1, 19,17, and witnessed November 25, 1946, and a.~ amende,4 effective
<br />October 1, 1951, February l, 1954, September 1, 1956, July 1, 1959. November 1, 1960, September
<br />1, 1963, April 1, 1964. February l, 1965, January 16, 1969, N0ve,nber 1, 1970, Juue 1, 1974.
<br />December't6, 1976. December 1, 1975. October 1. 1981, July 1, 1984, December 1. 1984. July 1,
<br />1985, February 1, 1990, July 1, 1990 and December 5, 19910 which provides for participation of Public
<br />Agency in said System, Board and Public Agency hereby agree as follows:

<br />Paragraphs 1 through 12 are hereby stricken from said contract as executM effective December
<br />5, 1991, and hereby replaced by the following paragraphs numbered 1 through 12 inclusive:
<br />
<br />All woi:ds and terms used herein which are definexl in the Public Employees' Retirement
<br />Law shall have the meaning as defined therein units otherwise specifically provided.
<br />'Normal retirement age' shall mean age 60 for local miscellaneous members and age 50
<br />for local safely tnembcrs.
<br />
<br />Public Agency shall participate in the J'ublic Employees' Retirement System from and
<br />after July 1, 1947 making ik~ employees az hereinafter Provided, members of said System
<br />attbject tu ali provisions of the Public Employees' llelirement Law except such as apply
<br />only on election of a contracting agency and are not provided for herein and to all
<br />amendments Io said Law hereafter enacted except those, which by express provisitm,q
<br />ther~f, apply only on the election of a cXmtractlng agency.

<br />Emplt)yees of Public Agem:y in the R)lknving classes shall become members of said
<br />Retirement System except such in ~ch such class as are ~xclud~ by law or ~is
<br />agr~ment:
<br />
<br />a. Local Fire Fighters (herein referred to as local ~afvxy members);
<br />
<br />b. Local Police Officers 0mrein referred to as local sai~ty members);
<br />
<br />Employes other than local safety members 0~oroin refert'o,l to az local
<br />miseellan~ms members).
