NS- 2192 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 14 OF THE SANTA ANA <br />MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADOPT THE 1991 EDITION <br />OF THE UNIFORM FIRE CODE <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That Section 14-1 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 14-1. Adoption of the Uniform Fire Code, 1991 Edition. <br /> <br /> There is hereby adopted by the city of Santa Aha that certain <br />code known as the "Uniform Fire Code, 1991 Edition," and the whole <br />thereof including the Appendices therein, and the accompanying <br />Uniform Fire Code Standards, save and except such portions as are <br />hereinafter deleted or amended, of which code not less than one (1) <br />copy has been and is now on file in the office of the clerk of the <br />council of the city of Santa Aha. The said code is adopted and <br />incorporated as fully as if set forth at length herein and, subject <br />to all amendments set forth in this article, shall be in effect <br />within the City of Santa Aha from the effective date of this <br />article. Any provision of this article amending the Uniform Fire <br />Code shall be construed as amending the 1991 Edition thereof <br />including such provisions enacted prior to this adoption of the <br />said 1991 Edition and not thereafter repealed. The said Uniform <br />Fire Code, 1991 Edition, as thus amended, together with all other <br />provisions of this article, shall be known as the "Fire Code of the <br />city of Santa Ana." <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That Section 14-17 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code <br />is hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> SECTION 3: That Section 14-25 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 14-25. Access roadways for apparatus (Section 10.204). <br /> <br /> Section 10.204 of the Uniform Fire Code is amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> (a) Required construction. Every building or portions of <br /> buildings hereafter constructed shall have fire apparatus <br /> access roadways. Such access roadways shall provide two (2) <br /> <br /> <br />
