451 ORDINANCE NO. NS- 2243 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SEVENTEENTH STREET AND SANTIAGO STREET FROM THE R1 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDEN- TIAL), R1-B (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL-PARK- ING), AND R2 (TWO-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DIS- TRICTS TO THE C5 (ARTERIAL COMMERCIAL) DIS- TRICT (AA NO. 1069) WHEREAS, A~endment Application No. 1069 has been filed to make certain changes in the zoning district designations of certain property located on the northwest corner of Seventeeth Street and Santiago Street as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, this Council, prior to adopting this ordinance, has reviewed the initial environmental study prepared for this project, and has approved the Negative Declaration for this project based thereon; and WHEREAS, this Council after duly noticed public hea~ing, has determined that the change in use district designations proposed in the abovesaid Amendment Application are Justified by the public necessity, convenience and general welfare; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: 1. That certain real property located on the northwest corner of Seventeenth street and Santiago Street and designated in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby reclassified from the Ri (Single-Family Residential), R1-B (Single-Family Residential-Parking), and R2 (Two-Family Residential) districts to the C5 (Arterial Commercial) district. 2. Amended Sectional District Map number 6-5-9, showing the above described changes in use district designations, is hereby approved.
