NS-2274 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING ARTICLE I OF CHAPTER 14 OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE, TO ADOPT THE <br />1994 EDITION OF THE UNIFORM FIRE CODE <br />WITH AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That section 14-1 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 14-1. Adoption of the Uniform Fire Code, 1994 Edition. <br /> <br /> There is hereby adopted by the city of Santa Ana that certain <br />code known as the "Uniform Fire Code, 1994 Edition," and the whole <br />thereof including the Appendices therein, and the accompanying <br />Uniform Fire Code Standards, save and except such portions as are <br />hereinafter deleted or amended, of which code not less than one (1) <br />copy has been and is now on file in the office of the clerk of the <br />council of the City of Santa Ana. The said code is adopted and <br />incorporated as fully as if set forth at length herein and, subject <br />to all amendments se~ forth in this article, shall be in effect <br />within the City of Santa Ana from the effective date of this <br />article. Any provision of this article amending the Uniform Fire <br />Code shall be construed as amending the 1994 Edition thereof <br />including such provisions enacted prior to this adoption of the <br />said 1994 Edition and not thereafter repealed. The said Uniform <br />Fire Code, 1994 Edition, as thus amended, together with all other <br />provisions of this article, shall be known as the "Fire Code of the <br />city of Santa Ana." <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That section 14-3 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Bec. 14-3. <br /> <br />Penalties. <br /> <br /> No person shall violate any of the provisions or fail to <br />comply with any of the requirements of this article. Except as <br />otherwise provided herein, any person who shall violate any of the <br />provisions of this article hereby adopted or fail to comply <br />therewith, or who shall violate or fail to comply with any order <br />made under this article, or who shall build in violation of any <br />detailed statement of specifications or plans submitted and <br />approved hereunder or any certificate or permit issued hereunder, <br />or who shall fail to comply with such an order within the time <br />fixed herein shall severally for each and every violation and <br /> <br /> <br />
