NS-2302 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA REZONING <br />CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON BOTH SIDES OF BUSH <br />STREET AND ON THE WEST SIDE OF SPURGEON STREET <br />BETWEEN FIRST STREET AND THIRD STREET FROM THE <br />C3 (CENTRAL BUSINESS) USE DISTRICT TO THE C3-A <br />(CENTRAL BUSINESS-ARTISTS VILLAGE) USE DIS- <br />TRICT (AA NO. 96-8) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Amendment Application NO. 96-8 has been filed to make certain <br />changes in the zoning district designations of certain property located on both <br />sides of Bush street and on the west side of Spurgeon Street between First Street <br />and Third Street aa hereinafter set forth; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, prior to adopting this ordinance, has reviewed the <br />initial environmental study prepared for this project, and has approved the <br />Negative Declaration for this project based thereon; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council after duly noticed public hearing, has determined <br />that the change in use district designations proposed in the abovesaidAmendm~nt <br />Applicatio~ are Justified by the public necessity, convenience and general <br />welfare; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That certain real property designated in Exhibit A, attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by reference, is hereby reclassified from the C3 (Central <br />Business) district to the C3-A (Central Business-Artists Village) district. <br /> <br /> 2. Amended Sectional District Map number 7-5-9, showing the above <br />described change in use district designation, is hereby approved. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 7th <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> % ioe c.
