NS- 2342 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING SPECIFIC <br />DEVELOPMENT PLAN NO. 60 TO ALLOW <br />TEMPOttARY OFFICE STRUCTURES FOR AUTO <br />SALES AND AUTO PARTS SALES AND STORAGE <br />ANCILLARY TO NEW CAR DEALERSHIPS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, by its Ordinance No. NS-2214, adopted <br />January 18, 1994, rezoned property in the area known as the Santa <br />Ana Auto Mall, more specifically described in said ordinance, to <br />the SD (Specific Development) District and adopted Specific <br />Development Plan No. 60 for such property; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as originally adopted, Specific Development Plan No. <br />60 did not allow for temporary office structures for auto sales <br />dealerships prior to development plan approval or auto part sales <br />and storage facilities ancillary to new car dealerships; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to allow temporary office <br />facilities and auto part sales and storage facilities for new car <br />dealerships in Specific Development No. 60; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN that Specific Development Plan No. 60 is amended by <br />adding items 6 and 7 to section A thereof, to read as follows: <br /> <br />Temporary automobile sales facilities on a paved <br />and landscaped parking and sales area in <br />conjunction with a new automobile dealership per <br />an approved ultimate development plan. <br /> <br />Automobile part sales and storage facilities for <br />the exclusive ancillary use of an adjacent new car <br />dealership. <br /> <br /> <br />
