145 <br /> <br />[continuation of text] <br /> <br />Be <br /> <br />Incidental S .qns <br /> <br />Incidental signs shall be permitted, including but not limited to <br />miscellaneous vehicle and pedestrian directional .signs, parking signs, <br />loading/delivery signs, hours of operation signs, handicap access signs, <br />water control and landscaping signs, entry gate signs, and code required <br />signs, shall be provided and shall be in accordance with applicable City, <br />state, and federal code standards and shall to the extent possible be <br />consistent with signage used in MacArthur Place in the vicinity of such <br />signs. <br /> <br />Other Commercial and Retails Si.qns; Residential Siqns <br /> <br />All signs pertaining to commercial and/or retail uses not otherwise <br />provided for in this Section VII (Signs), and all signs Pertaining to <br />residential uses, shall be subject to the approval of the Planning Director. <br /> <br />Legal Nonconform n.q Signs <br /> <br />Any signs existing within MacArthur Place at the time these sign <br />standards are adopted that are inconsistent with these sign standards <br />shall be considered legal nonconforming signs. <br /> <br />Prohibited Signs <br /> <br />Marquee signs with the exception of theater signs approved by the <br />Planning Director, roof-top signs, flashing signs, and rotating or revolving <br />signs shall not be permitted. <br /> <br />IV. ADDITIONAL STANDARDS <br /> <br />Building tenants and occupants that are not Major Tenants, Primary <br />Tenants, or Ground Floor Tenants, or an Office Tower or Office Tower <br />Complex, shall be restricted to interior tenant directory listings. <br /> <br />All sign typefaces shall be sUbject to the reasonable approval of the <br />Planning Director. <br /> <br />Tenant signs visible from the exterior of any building shall be devised or <br />constructed so as not to rotate, gyrate, blink, move, or appear to move <br />in any fashion. <br /> <br />394/016555-000213236455.6 m05/07/99 -3- <br /> <br /> <br />
