ORDINANCE NO. NS-2419 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AMENDING CHAPTER 36 SECTION 145 AND <br />CHAPTER 41 SECTION 607 OF THE SANTA ANA <br />MUNICIPAL CODE TO CORRESPOND TO CHANGES IN <br />THE CALIFORNIA VEHICLE CODE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to update the regulation of ~ <br />vehicles to conform with the California Vehicle Code; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, changes in the Califomia Vehicle Code since enactm <br />commemial vehicle regulation make it necessary to amend the Municipal Code. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: That Santa Ana Municipal Code section 36-145 is hereby adop <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 36-145. Same- Commercial Vehicles. <br /> <br />No person shall park and/or leave standing on any street, or portion then <br />residential district located within the city any commemial vehicle with a mar <br />gross vehicle weight rating of 10,000 pounds or more for a period of time I <br />two hours. Such restriction shall not apply to any commercial vehicle whic~ <br />pickups or deliveries of goods, wares, and merchandise from or to any <br />structure located on the residential street, or for the purpose of delivering ~ <br />be used in the actual and bona fide repair, alteration, remodeling, or construe <br />building or structure upon the residential street for which a building <br />previously been obtained. <br /> <br />SECTION 2: That Santa Ana Municipal Code section 41-607 is hereby ado~ <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 41-607.
