Andrews, J.~,L Burlew, L.J. Carden, C.S. Orookshank <br /> John Cubbon, S.iL Finley, Chas. F. Heil, John McFadden, <br /> J.G. Quick, Herbert P. Rankin, W.C. Roberts, ~.B. Smith, <br /> Geo. S. Smith, W.B. Tedfird and R.J. Thompson,each receiv- <br /> <br /> ed a plurality of said votes and they and each of them <br /> are heroby declared elected freeholders to prepare and <br /> <br /> frame said charter for said City, upon taking the oath of <br /> office and the Clerk is hereby instructed to notify each <br /> of them of their election. <br /> <br />Mr. White a~peared before the Board and asked for $75.00 <br />towards paying for band concerts at Birch Park. <br /> <br />Upon motion of ~.[cPhee, seconded by Grubb and carried, the <br />request is granted. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> Geo. W. Minter and E.g. Keech, et al, appeared before <br />tho Board relative to proposal to pave either Chestnut <br />Ave., or First St. in accordance with specifications of <br />State Highway Oon~ission. No action taken. <br /> <br />~esolution No.54§ relative to proposed State Highway <br />was on motion ordered tabled. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> On motion of Aldernan, duly seconded and carried, <br /> <br /> S.H. ~inley was appointed as a cormuittee to look up and <br /> report as to the advisability of using ~ast Fourth Stree~ <br /> aa a part of the State Highway. <br /> <br /> The Bond of Sam Jernig~n as City Marshal given by the <br /> National Surety Company for $2§,000 was approved. <br /> <br /> The petition of Frank L. Schmidt, et al, to have the <br /> <br />~anta Clara Avenue sewer extended to "C" Street was granted, <br />provided that the property owners pay for the sewer pipe <br />and the City to install the same. <br /> <br />On motion it is ordered that curb lines on each side of <br />Bush Street between First and Second Street be extended <br />~ feet. <br /> <br />Ordinance No.~41 an Ordinance amending Section S of <br />Ordinance No.4~ of the City of Santa Aha in relation to <br />width of sidewalks and roadways was on motion referred to <br />the City Attorney. <br /> <br />The proposition of straightening ~ast Chestnut Avenue <br />from Minnie Street to the Railroad Track was referred to <br />the City ~ngineer. <br /> <br /> <br />
