Newman was appointed assistant driver for the <br />Fire Department. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br />On motion the Clerk was instructed to draw a warrant <br />on the Oity Treasurer covering demandsNo.?49 to 901 in- <br />clusive a~d as the same are recorded in Warrant and <br />Demand Book No. 1, pages ll, 1~, and 15. <br /> <br /> On motion the City Clerk is instructed to transfer <br /> <br />$~00 from the General ~und to the Fire Fund. <br /> <br /> The Sewer Co~ittee reported that they had perfected <br /> <br />an option on a strip of land 16 feet wide on the ~ast <br />Side of the Willow Land Company's property, said strip <br />co~encing on the Ocean ~ront and extending inland <br />miles for the price of SJ~O0. <br /> <br /> On motion the City Clerk is instructed to draw a warrant <br />for $~00 on the City Treasurer to cover cost price of <br />said strip and the City Engineer and Superintendent of <br />Water end Sewers are instructed to get a Deed from the <br />Willow Land Company for said strip of land, for sewer <br />purposes. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br />On motion of Greenleaf, duly seconded and carried, Frank <br />Gilbert was instructed as a special officer to direct <br />vehicles around and across the intersection of Main Street <br />and Fourth Street on Satu~daysbetween~the hours of 1~ M <br />and ? P.M., and on ~undays between the hours of 10 A.M. <br />and ?
