Olark; said committee to report at a <br />meeting to be held September 7, 19lB at ? p.m. <br /> <br />On motion of Grubb, seconded by McPhee to make a horizontal <br />raise of ten per cent ~n the assessed valuation of the City <br /> <br />of Santa Asa, was loot by'the following vote to-wit: <br /> Trustees NcPhee and Grubb. <br /> Trustees Alderman, Greenleaf and <br /> <br />The petition of H.A. Hanning 'to lay a cement curb and cement <br />sidewalk along the North side of ~aat Fourth Street from the <br />Santa Ne Railroad to Grand Avenue was on motion referred tp <br />a comittee consisting of Trustees Gr~bb and Alderman. <br /> <br />A remonstrance signed by F.H. Taylor et al, remonstrating <br />against the narrowing of East Foumth Street was on motion <br />denied. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />The petition of Geo. R. Wells et al, to lay cement curbs <br />and cement sidewalks on the North side of BOth Street bet- <br />ween the Easterly line of Bush Street and the Westerly <br />line of Spurgeon Street was oh motion granted, p~ovided <br />however, tt~t the request be signed by all of the proper~y <br />owners interested. <br /> <br /> <br />
