Automobiles <br /> <br />In Re Motor <br />Cops <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Street Lights <br /> <br />In Re Curb <br /> <br />12th Street <br /> <br />In Re Empowering <br />Presiden~ pro tern <br /> <br />In Rs Library <br />Roof <br /> <br />In Re Curbs East <br />Fourth Street <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees Alderman, McPhee and Oreenleaf. <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees None. <br /> <br />Absent,Trustees Grubb and My. <br /> <br />Ordinance No.§%6,an Ordinance to prevent injury to person <br />and property at railroad gates across streets of said City <br />was on motion of McPhee, seconded by Greenleaf, passed aW <br />adopted: by the following vote to-wit: <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees Alderman, McPhee and Greenleaf. <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees None. <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees Grubb and ~.y. <br /> <br />0rddnance Ne.B%?, an Ordinance of the 0ity of Santa Aha, <br />requiring wires and poles on certain streets to be placed <br />in conduits underground, was read and on motion referred ~o <br />the Oity Attorney. <br /> <br />On motion of Greenleaf, duly seconded and carried, the <br /> <br />Railroad Companies are ordered to place ~lagmen on East <br /> <br />First Street and that the~ be appointed as special police. <br /> <br />Ordinance No.5~8, an ordinance requiring that automobiles <br />be stopped when an electric car is receiving and discharging <br />passengers, was read and on motion referred to the 0ity <br />Attorney. <br /> <br />On motion of Greenleaf, ,duly seconded and carried, it is <br />ordered , that the motor cops be allowed one-half of the <br />fines collected through their efforts. <br /> <br />The petition of F.E. Marks et al, asking .that street <br />lights be ins.tailed on Bristol Street from Fifth Street <br />to l?th Street, was on motion referred to Trustee Greenleaf. <br /> <br /> The peti.tion of H. Diets et al, to lay curb on l~.th Street <br /> <br />between M.~in Street and Spurgeon Street was referredto the <br />City Engineer with power to act. <br /> <br />On motion President pro tem Alderman is empowered to sign <br />all Ordinances and papers requiring signature during the <br />absence of the President of the Board of Trustees. <br /> <br />On motion Trustees McPhee and Alderman are named a committee <br />to look up and make arrangements for repairing and painting <br />Library roo'f. <br /> <br />The request of City Engineer Finley to change width of curb <br />.on E~st Fourth Street was on motion denied. <br /> <br /> <br />
