City Hall, Santa Aha, Cal. December 2, 1912, at 7'30 p.m. The Board met in res ulsr session. Present, Trustees, Alderman, }~cphee, Greenleaf, Grubb, Board called to order by President Frank Ry. In Re Straightening Flower Street In Re Sids:valks ~1 Curbs on East Wa.~hinston Lvu. In Re Street Opening Flower Street Acres. In Re Flower Street Acres. In Re Council Chambers Woman's Civic League. In Re Clsau Up Vacant Lots. In Re Sewer Spurgeon School. In Re Clean Up Lots and the Clerk. The action of President ~.y in offering to have cen~.ent curbs on South Flower Street in front of Lots l, S, S, 4, 5 and 6, Block"O" of the Hell Tract in exchange for frontage of s,~ld Lots to make South Flower Street a uniform width of 60 feet, also asking the Board to aiprove a map of the same was passed and adopted by the following vote to-wit: Ayes, Trustees Ald.3rman~, McPhee, Greenle~f, G~ubb and Noes, ]{one. The petition of H.E. Smith, et al, to construct side- walks and cen~eut curbs on East Washington Avenue bet- ween the tracks of the S.P. Company and the A T & S F Ry Co., and on Logan Street between East Washington Ave., snd Fruit Street was referred back to the petiti~ners. The petiti~-n $$ F H Teel asking for the o~ening of street fron~ ~orse Villa Tract to Flower Street Acres beginning at Flower Street and running west to Shelton Street was referred to the Street Conm~ittee. # A con~.unicat!on from Sam Hill was ordered tabled. Per~,iss~on was granted the Woman's Civic League tho use of the Council Chan~bers on the First Saturday ~f each month. # The proposal of the Woman's Civic League to adopt ways and means to have vacant lots in the City cleaned uI: was ordered app.roved by the Board. The Supt. of Sewers was instructed to make the necess- ary sewer connectfcus for the Spurgeon School. On motion of ~cPhee duly seconded ,nd carried, the Street Su~t. is instructed to clean u~ lots at corner of ~nd and French and ~rd and French,now being use~ for hitching racks.
