City tIall, Santa Aha, Cal. <br /> <br /> June 24, 1912 at 7:30 p.r~. <br /> <br /> The Board met in regular adjourned session. <br /> <br />Present Trustees Ey, Alderman, McPhee, Greenleaf Grubb and the 01erk. <br /> <br />Board called to order by President Frank Ey. <br /> <br />In Re No bids having been received for hay the matter is <br />Bids for Hay ordered continued. <br /> <br />In Re On motion of Alderman, seconded by G~ubb and carried, <br />Resolution the following Resolution is ordered spread on the minutes: <br />Death of George S. Wilson "Whereas, Death has taken from his sphere of usefulness <br /> the respected City Mszshal of the City of Santa Aha, <br /> George S. Wilson, who has for over a year performed his <br /> onerous and important duties with conspicuous fairness and <br /> ability, and; <br /> Whereas, George S. Wilson as an official had ever and <br /> always in mind the best interests of the people of the 0ity <br /> of Santa Aha and served them with marked ability by favor- <br /> ing at all times a conservative, economical and absolutely <br /> honest administration of public affairs, be it <br /> Resolved~ that we deplore his death and realize by his <br /> taking away the City of Santa Ana has lost a most valuable <br /> and efficient public official and we ourselves a co-laborer <br /> whose loss will be deeply felt. Be it further <br /> Resolved, that the Olerk of this Board be instructed to <br /> spread this Resolution upon the official minutes of this <br /> Board and send a copy of the same to the bereft family. <br /> <br /> A communication from gdison J. Martin relative to fly- <br /> traps was read and ordered filed. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> A petition from W.E. Winslow et al, to pave Bush Street <br /> from ~ifth Street to Washington Avenue by the E1 Oeo As- <br /> phalt Paving Company was on motion of Grubb, seconded by <br /> McPhee, ordered granted. <br /> <br /> The City to pay for all street intersections, the City <br /> Attorney to prepare Resolution. <br /> <br /> Specifications No.77 for paving Streets in the City of <br /> Santa Aha was read and on motion of Alderman, duly second- <br /> ed,adopted. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Fly-Traps <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Petition Paving <br /> <br />Bush St. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Specifications <br /> <br />No.77 <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Ourb Line <br /> <br />on Bush St. <br /> <br />On motion the curb line on Bush Street, between Ni~zlzh aud <br /> <br />Tenth Street, was extended into the street Z feet or oyes <br /> <br />by the following vote: Ayes Alderman, McPhee,Greenleaf <br />Grubb.and <br /> <br />Noes, None. <br /> <br />The 0ity ~ngineer is instructed to set the grade stakes. <br /> <br /> <br />
