McEinzie for Housemover's license, was on motion apt~roved and the license ordered issued. The time having arrived for opening bids for drilling water well~ it was on motion duly seconded and carried, ordered that the Clerk proceed to open bids. S.P. Catey, bid $499P~.50. N.M. Long, bid $4500.00 J.H.M. efford, bid, ~4~§0.00 J. Wnu Smith bid $§.00 per foot for 100 ft. pit and at thc rate of $~.47~ per foot for 1000 feet. Hallstrom ~and Boslar bid ~?.00 per and $$.40 per foot for drilling well. On motion bids were ordered referred to a commdttee consisting of Alderman Grubb and Reid.
