And agreeing to install the <br />punp of 80 feet from top of ground if it is necessary to get the <br />desired amount of water, the Oity to furnish electric motor and <br />power to drive the pump. If after 10 days trial this pump <br />proves satisfactory to the City and the Oity advertises for bids <br />to purchase, the City agrees to ask for bide on a iize pump that <br />is best adapted for the amount of water that the City's well will <br />furnish at a depth agreed u~on. <br /> <br />On motion of Alderman, seconded by McPhee, the foregoing propo- <br />sition is accepted. <br /> <br />Ordinance No.§66, an Ordinance regulating the keeping,itorage or <br />use of gasoline exceeding § gallons in Quantity in any public or <br />private place, in the ~ity of Santa Ana, also for the keeping, <br />atorage or use of fuel oil, was on motion referred to a committee <br />consisting of Trustees Alderman, McPhee, Greenleaf, Grubb and <br />City ~ngineer Finley. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br />Ordinance No.~68, an Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana,fixing a <br />maximum gas rate for natural gas furnished to the City of Santa <br />Aha, or its inhabitants; and other regulationa for the control of <br />persons, firms or corporations supplying to the inhabitants of <br />said City, was read and on motion referred to the City Attorney. <br /> <br />· Mr. Knoller appeared before the Board and asked permission to <br />have a boxing contest in the rear of his building. On motion of <br />McPhee, seconded by Alderman and carried, the application is <br />denied. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br />-On motion of McPhee, seconded by Alderman and carried, it is <br />ordered that all members of the Board be present on South Broadway <br />at % p.m., on Feb. 18th, 19lA, for the purpose of making · demon- <br />stration of the water pressure on said Street. <br /> <br /> H.P. Oonnell appeared before the Board and asked that Lacy ~treet <br /> be graveled from First St. to ~th St., On motion of McPhee <br /> seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the Street Department ie in- <br /> structed to gravel said street. <br /> <br /> <br />
