City Hall, Santa Ana, Cal. April 20,1914, at 7:50 p.m. The Board met in regular session. On m~otion of MoPhee, seconded by Alderman, it is ordered that the map of the Polytechnic Villa Tract be a'ccepted approved, provided however, that a bond of $§000.00 aptrovdd by the President of the Board of Trustees, be filed with the City Clerk to carry out the conditions of Ordinance No.574, of the Oity of Santa Aha, and it is further provided that additional time be granted in so far aa the improvements are concerned in relation to Cubbon and Hi6hland Streets, the foregoing motion was ~assed by the following vote to-wit:- Ayes, Trustees Alderman, McPhee, Greenleaf, Grubb and Ey. Noes, T~usteea ~Tone. On motion duly seconded and carried, Mr.Whitney is granted permiasion to lay a 1~. inch irrigating pipe line across South Main St. ,about 100 feet North ~f the South line of the City limits, provided however, that thesaid street be placed in a good condition after the pipe is laid. On motion duly seconded and carried, the request for street lights on South Main Street to the City limits and on South Broadway South of ~irat Street was on ~otion referred to Trustees Greenleaf and McPhee. On motion of Grubb, duly seconded and carried, the Board orders the removal of two camphor trees on French Street between First and Second Streets. On motion duly seconded and carried, the Oity Attorney ia directed to draft a suitable Resolution in reference to clean- u~ week called to the attention of this Board by Resolution from the gbell society. On motion of McPhee, duly seconded and carried, D.A.Dale ia granted a plumber's license,provided however, that he fi~ea a good and sufficient bond approved by the President of the Board of Tr,~steea with the 0ity Olerk . On motion of Alderman, seconded by Greenleaf and carried,. Trustees Grubb, Greenleaf and Alderman, are named a committee to investigate the a~a~ee.~preferred again~st the City Elestric- ian by the Cope ~leotrio Company.
