Vinaon <br /> <br />In Re Grading South <br />Flower Street <br /> <br /> In re gravel cross <br /> <br />Walk on Wellington <br /> <br />Ave between <br /> <br />and the 01erk. <br /> <br /> The com ittee appointed to investigate and report on the <br /> bide submitted for the purchase of automobiles for the <br /> Water Department, reconmend the purchase of the two Ford <br /> oars for $1176.00, provided that the Ford people equip the <br /> care with ~oodx~abh Siren and ~..w~, lights and allow <br /> a test of ~0 dayn on the oarburatere, and if they do not <br /> prove eatinfactory they agree to install a satinfactory <br /> carburater. <br /> <br /> On motion of Alderman, seconded by McPhee and carried, upon <br /> the fore$oing report of the 0ommittee, <br /> bid of the West End Garage be accepted <br /> bids be rejected. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> On motion of ~lderman, seconded b~ McPhee and carried, it <br />is ordered that the bid of Farnon, Son and Oompany for the <br />$63,000 Water Bonds and the $12,000 Fire Bonds, of par, <br />accrued interest and a premium thereover of $38.00 be reject- <br />ed, on account of reference in bid to the statement in reft#f- <br />ence to "Satisfactory a~torney's fees", naid statement not <br />being definite. <br /> <br />~n motion of Alderman, seconded by McPhee and carried, the <br />0ity 01zrk is instructed to re-advertise for $68,000 water <br />bonds and $1~,000 fire bonde$ bids to be opened March ~,1914, <br />at ?:30 ~.m., the Board reserving the right to reject any and <br />all bide. <br /> <br />it is ordered that the <br />and that all other <br /> <br />On motion of Grubb, duly seconded and carried, the applica- <br />tion of O.
