Palmer Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt for $500 with E.P.Stafford and Geo.MePhee as sureties, was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, referred to the President for approval. # The applications of A.A. Avery, Philip A.Gardner Jr., and ~.L.Deakon for auto for hire for license, accompanied by bonds of $10,000 each with Pacific Ooast aasualty as sureties, was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, seconded by McPhee and carried, referred to the President ortho Board for ap~roval. , Upon motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, the request of Ool. E.H.Finley, member ~f the ornamental light committee, topostpone proceedings for the ornamental street lights for one week was g~anted. The application of A.D.Swartzel for the appointment of Xnspector of paving on gast Ohestnut was on motion of True- tee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, ordered rec- eived and placed on file, for future reference. Upon motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, the Board rescinds the action in leasing the pest House grounds to H.W.Davis on account of R.J.Blee holding an option to lease same for another year. # · petition signed by a majority of the property owners on Oypress Ave. ,to have said street paved with concrete base and asphalt top as per specifications No 80,of the 0ity, from the North line of Ohestnut Ave., to the ~outh line of Pine St., was on' motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, sams w~ gr~nted. # On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, the Water ~upt., is instructed to lay about $00 ft
