Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. # carried, prepare The application of P. Alvana for a license to conduct a l~xmh wagon on a vacant lot on Sycamore St. between ~nd and ~rd St., on motion of Trustee MoPhee duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, same was granted. # On motion of Trustee Tubbs, drily seconded by Maryatt and carried, permission is granted the N.X.l~airbank 0c~pany to solicit and take orders for Cottolene free of license. Ail orders so taken to be filled b~ local grocers. The application of property owners on West Pine between Main and Sycamore to ~ave ~urface on said street prepared for oil, the property owners to pay for the oil, was upon motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Greenleaf and the Superintendent of Streets was instructed to said street and roll same. Upon motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried, the plans and specifications of [lwing and Tedford for the remodeling of the Arcade Rooming House on gait Fourth for better fire and sanitary condition, are accepted with the proviso that the work be done under the supervision of the architects and strictly in accordance with the plane and specifications. # On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by ~eenleaf and carried, the City ~ngineer, is instructed to set grade stake for the cement curbing on East First St., in the following manner, at Mabury, 18 feet North of oenterJ 19 feet a~Wright and 20 feet at Michigan. # The applications of R.M.Brinokerhoff and R.A.lIarlow for auto for hire license aoo~panied by bonds of $10,000 each was on motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seoonded b~ ~esnleaf and carried, ~ranted, and bonds referred to President for approv. al.
