Oity Hall, 5ants &na,Oal. July 6, 1915, at 7:30 p.m. Board met in regular session. Present, Trustees Tubbs, McPhee, Greenleaf, Maryatt, Visel and the 01erk. Board called to order by President Visel. In Re Minutes In Rs Storage Tank Auto L~ cense In Re Fire Protoctlon Street Sign In Re Rooming House Bond,C.F.Havens In Re Trash Rece[ tacles ~n Rs Removal of Woods Minutes of June 21st and 28th read and minutes of June 28th amended. # The application of j.A. Holland for a permit to erect a gaso- line storage tank above ground at the corner of Pacific Ave., and Fifth St., 100 feet from any structure, was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded and carried, referred to ~ire Committee. The application of E.g. Btricker for a Jitney bus license was on motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by Maryatt and carried, was granted. A petition signed by the Packin~g House owners East of the Santa Fe tracks for better fire protection was read and on motion duly seconded and carried referred to the Water Supt. with #nstructions to place hydrants on 4th and 6th Sts.,gast of Railr#ad tracks. # Petition of J.W.Hancock to hang a metal watch sign in front of his place of business was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded bY McPhee, granted, providing same is made an electric sign. The application of Mrs. Arthur Ammon to conduct a rooming house at 41§~ gast 4th St., was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by McPhee and carried, granted. The bond of Oharlee F.Bavens,oement conctractor, with J.Wiley Harris and Ray 0handler as sureties was read and upon motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by Greenleaf and carried, referred to the President for approval. A communication from the M. & M. Association asking the Board to place ornamental trash receptacles on the business streets was read and on motion of Trustee ~cPhee, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, was ordered laid on the table. On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, the Street Oomm~ttee was instructed to request Mr. Zerman to clean weeds off the Lot on East Third St.,used by him as m wood yard.
