Trustee McPhee called the-: ~ <br />attention of the Board that no time limit when the work <br />was to be completed. Upon suggestion a clause was in- <br />serted naming the time the work must be ~inished at 90 <br />days. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and carried, <br />a <br />~ha bond of $2500 O0 must be given for the f&ithful per- <br /> <br />formance by the successful bidder. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McPhee,duly seconded and carried, <br /> <br />the succeasful bidder is given permission to close F~rst <br />St.,and start work. <br /> <br />Mr.L.A.Schlesinger appeared before the Board and stated <br />that the atectric meters in the Te~le Theater had been <br />removed without his permission. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf <br />and carried, the City Electrician is instructed to <br />order the Southern Calif;~dison Co. to place electric <br />meters back in the Theater Building, and to inspect all <br />theater buildings in the City. <br /> <br />The report of City Electrician Wm.McCulloch on the wiring <br />in the Temple Theater Bldg. was read and stated that the <br />wiring to be in a very very bad shape. <br /> <br />The committee appointed to investigate the safety of the <br />Arcade Rooming house on ~ast 4th St., reported showing the <br />two upper stories of the building tmsafe, unsanitary and <br />not in accordance with the State Law, and on motion of <br />Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, <br />ordered vacant and be kept vacant until they are safe,sani- <br />tary and in a lawful condition. <br /> <br />The application of M.L.Rouse for an auto for hire license <br />was ~n motion of Trustee Tubbs, seconded by Greenleaf and <br />carried, granted. <br /> <br /> <br />
