189 <br /> <br />(7) <br /> <br />(8) <br /> <br />Park any vehicle within three hundred (300) feet of any fire <br />apparatus which is stopped in answer to a fire alarm. <br /> <br />Ride a bicycle or skateboard upon a sidewalk within a business <br />district, as that te,m is defined in California Vehicle Code, Section <br />235. Whenever any person is riding a bicycle or skateboard upon a <br />sidewalk other than in a business district, or in any other public <br />place, such person shall yield the right-of-way to any pedestrian. <br /> <br />(9) <br /> <br />Drive a vehicle into an intersection or a marked crosswalk unless <br />there is sufficient space on the other side of the intersection or <br />crosswalk to accommodate the vehicle he is operating without <br />obstructing the passage of other vehicles or pedestrians in such <br />intersection or crosswalk, notwithstanding any official traffic- <br />control device or signal indication to proceed. <br /> <br />(10) Drive any motor vehicle upon or over a median. <br /> <br />SECTION 5: That Santa Ana Municipal Code section 36-118 is hereby adopted <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 36-118. Standing in median. <br />No person shall stand, walk or sit on any median other than in a safety zone or <br />in a crosswalk. This section shall not apply to any public officer, construction <br />worker or employee of a public utility or its agent acting in the line of duty if <br />such presence on the median is necessary to carry out the functions of the job. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 16thday of August, 1999. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> c.
