MgYgR and N.L. <br />GALBRAITH to circulate petitions among property owners on <br /> <br />West 5rd St., for oil and gravel. <br /> <br />The application of the Santa Ana Bath House Co., for a license <br />to conduct a laundry at ~01-$05 8purgeon St., was on motion of <br />Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded b~ Tubbs and carried, granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubb8, duly seconded by Maryatt and <br />carried, action on the petitions to oil and gravel the follow- <br />ing streets: Stafford from French to"g" ; Lacy from 5th to <br />Vance was deferred to some future date on account of the word- <br />ing of the petition not conforming in reference to the spread- <br />ing of the oil. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greanleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and <br />carried, that a comittee be appointed in reference to paying <br />the bonds and interest for paving West 5th St., along the <br />property of the West Fifth St. school, the President appoint- <br />ing Trustees Greenleaf and Tubbs and City Attorney Scott as <br />such committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded by Greenleaf and <br />carried, it was decided that the City put in a culvert under <br />the Fifth St. paving at Sullivan St. under the supervision <br />of the City ~.~ineer. <br /> <br />The bond of W.N.¢randall to do private cement contract work <br />with O.R, Smock as surety for $500.00, was on motion of Trustm <br />Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, referred to the <br />President for approval. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded and carried, the <br />committee appointed to investigate the condition of the <br />Arcade rooming house in reference to better sanitary condition <br />and fire protection, was continued. <br /> <br /> <br />
