In Re Permit to circulate Petition In Rs Permit ~o conduct laundry In Re 0il and Gravel on Lacy & Stafford Sts. In Re W.Sth St. School Paving Bonds In Re 0ulvert W.5th St. ~ Re Bond W.N. Orandall In Re Arcade Rooming House Greenleaf, Maryatt, Visel, and the 01erk. On motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded by Tubb8 and carried, permission is granted to J01~ H. MgYgR and N.L. GALBRAITH to circulate petitions among property owners on West 5rd St., for oil and gravel. The application of the Santa Ana Bath House Co., for a license to conduct a laundry at ~01-$05 8purgeon St., was on motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded b~ Tubbs and carried, granted. On motion of Trustee Tubb8, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, action on the petitions to oil and gravel the follow- ing streets: Stafford from French to"g" ; Lacy from 5th to Vance was deferred to some future date on account of the word- ing of the petition not conforming in reference to the spread- ing of the oil. On motion of Trustee Greanleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, that a comittee be appointed in reference to paying the bonds and interest for paving West 5th St., along the property of the West Fifth St. school, the President appoint- ing Trustees Greenleaf and Tubbs and City Attorney Scott as such committee. On motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, it was decided that the City put in a culvert under the Fifth St. paving at Sullivan St. under the supervision of the City ~.~ineer. The bond of W.N.¢randall to do private cement contract work with O.R, Smock as surety for $500.00, was on motion of Trustm Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, referred to the President for approval. On motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded and carried, the committee appointed to investigate the condition of the Arcade rooming house in reference to better sanitary condition and fire protection, was continued.
