<br />The applications of L.H. Farquhar and C.C.Loftin for auto for
<br />hire license accompanied by $10,000 bonds each, with the Pacific
<br />Coast Casualty Co., as sureties, were on motion of Trustee Green-
<br />leaf, duly seconded by Maryatt and carried, licenses granted
<br />and bonds referred to the President for approval.

<br />The bond of H.Clay Kellogg, et al, to cover costs of material
<br />used in paving Walnut St., between Orange and Cypress Aves.,
<br />was on motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs and
<br />carried, referre~ back So .as to include the cost of labor.

<br /> C.W. Bowers for $16.50 for gravel hauled on
<br />
<br /> and later removed by the City, was on motion of
<br />
<br /> duly seconded and carried, referred to a committee
<br />for investigation. The President appointing Trustees Greenleaf
<br />and Tubbs and Street Supt. OBrien.
<br />
<br />The monthly reports of the Recorder, Marshal, Building Inspector,
<br />and Street Supt., was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly
<br />seconded and carried, accepted and ordered placed on file.
<br />
<br />A communication from A.E.Fowler stating that the property owners
<br />on Highland St., would sign his petition for oil and gravel if
<br />City would put street to grade from Flower to Shelton, was on
<br />motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried
<br />action for same was laid over for one week.
<br />
<br />Upon motion of Trustee Tubbs,duly seconded by Maryatt and
<br />carried, F.F.Follett was granted a license to conduct a pool
<br />and billiard parlor at his place of business, 309 E.4th St.,
<br />
<br /> The motion of Trustee Maryatt that the application of E.A.
<br /> Logsdon for an ~uto for hire license be granted him ~fter bond
<br /> had been approved by the President, was duly seconded and ca~rie~
<br />
<br /> Upon motion~ly seconded and carrieS, property owners on Walnut
<br /> street between Orange and Cypress are granted the uae of the
<br /> street roller free of charge, property owners to pay the cost
<br />
<br />of operating same.
