City Hall, Santa Aha, Cal. <br /> <br /> July lOth, 1916, ?:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Board met in regular adjourned session. <br /> <br />Meeting called ~o order by President Vieel. <br /> <br />Present, Trustees MoPhee, Tubbe, Greenle&f, Maryatt, <br /> <br />Visel and the Clerk. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Chautauqua Permit <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Protest Lacy St. paving <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Deputy Health Inspector <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Jitney License <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Associate Charities report <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Librarian's Report <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Housemovers Permit <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Rooming House License <br /> <br />On motion of Truetee MoPhee, duly seconded by Maryatt and <br />carried, the Redpath Hornet Ohautauqua~ was granted permiselon <br />to hold & Chautauqua from July 15th, 1916, to July 22nd, 1916, <br />free of lioenee~, and also given permiseion to string banners <br />across streets. <br /> <br />A protest from J.R. Schocley in reference to the paving of <br />Lacy St., with crushed rock and oil, was on motion of Trustee <br />McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbe and carried, ordered placed <br />cn file. <br /> <br />Upon motion of Truetee Tubbe, duly seconded by ~reenleaf and <br />carried, J.P. Spaulding was appointed a deputy Health Inspect~ <br />at a salary of $25.00 per month to serve at the pleasure of t~ <br />Board and appointment to take effect July llth, 1916. <br /> <br /> The application cf Henley M. Davis for an auto for hire license <br /> accompanied by a $10,000 bond with the Casualty Co. of Amerio& <br /> as surety, was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded and <br /> carried, license granted and bond referred to President for <br /> approval. <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly eeoonded and carried, <br />the report of the A~eociate Charities wan accepted and the <br />custom of allowing $25.00 per month for a policewoman is <br />continued. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />The report of Miss McFadden, Librarian of the Public Library <br />was on motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly eeconded by Maryatt and <br />carried, report accepted and ordered pl&oed on file. <br /> <br />The application of Dart & MoXinzie, housemovere asking per- <br />mission to remove a fr~e dwelling ~ X ]~ ft. from ~21 L~y <br />St.,out of the City Limit~ over certain streets, w~ on motion <br />of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by McPhee ~d o~ried, permission <br />~ted, subject to 5~erinte~ent of Streets ~prov~ ~ to <br />route to be t~en. <br /> <br /> ~on motion of Trustee Greenle~, duly eeoondeA by Tubbe ~ <br /> o~ried, taw ~plioation of ~s.
