On motion of Trustee Tuhbe, duly seconded by Greenleaf a~d carried,City Attorney Scott le instructed to prepaxe a Resolution accepting ornamental lights aa installed. On motion of Trustee Oreenleaf, duly saconded and carried, City Marshal Jorniga~ was instructed to a~ate the nuisanc~ of certain party or parties talking through megaphones or any other device creating an attraction at the Corner of ~th and Spurgeon. Upon motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded and carried, that Acting President Maryatt appoint a committee to interview Supervisor Struck in reference to partloa~ etreet~ln the Northeast part of leaf and Tubbe and Street Supt. Committee. On motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded and carried, the Oity. Trustees Green- OBrien were named aa luoh Street Supt. OBrien wa~ instructed to interview the Edieo~ Electric Co., and the Telephone Co.. in reference to the removal of a pole situated U the property of Frank 8tout, near 6th and Roes Ste. On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded amd carried, the e~y of J.W V~ de Bruggen, p~ oueto~l~, w~ raised from $7~ 90 $~ per month. On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly eeoondedand carried, Police 0ffioer John Ryan was given leave of ~bsenoe from Aug. 15th to the 29th lnolu~ive. # Upon motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly eeoonded and carried, the Clerk was ordered to draw warrant in favor of Ransom Reid, Water Supt. for $~.75 a~ount due water department employee for July ~th,1916. # On motion of Trustee MoPhee. duly ascended and carried, men employed in the water department receiving $~.25 per day were raised to $2.55 to correspond with salary in street department.
