<br />An Ordinance fixing the amount of money uoertalned to carry

<br />on the various departments of the City and pay the bonded
<br />indebtedness falling due for the current year 1916-17, was
<br />read. A motion by Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Maryatt
<br />that 30 cts. on the $100 be allowed Street department, resulted
<br />in the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Tubbs, MoPhee, Greenleaf
<br />and Maryatt. Noes, Trustee Visel.
<br />
<br />A motion by Trustee Oreenlea~ to reconsider the action on the
<br />street levy and place same at 27 cts. and Fire fund at $ cts.
<br />on the $100 assessed value, was duly seconded and carried.
<br />
<br />A motion by Trustee Oreenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbe and
<br />carried by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Tubbs, MoPhee,
<br />Greenleaf and Vlsel, Noes Trustee Maryatt, the following rates
<br />were adopted: For the Oeneral~Fund 60 oil. Street Fund 27 ets
<br />Library 9 cts. Fire Fund ~ cts., 8ewar Fund 5 cts. Sewer
<br />Bonded indebtednels 5 cts. Water Works Bonded Indebtedness 19
<br />cts. City Nail Bonded Indebtedness 2 cts. Fire Dept. Bonded
<br />Indebtedness 2 cts. Park, music and advertising 1 ct. each,
<br />making a total Of $1.~O on each $100 of aosessed valuation.

<br />A Resolution amending specifications Nc.g2 pertaining to street
<br />improvement, passed and approved on the 5th day of June, 1916,
<br />was read and on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seoor~ed by
<br />Maryatt and carried, referred back to tho City Attorney.
<br />
<br />Specifications for gravelling Pine St., from Flower to Baker
<br />was on motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seoomded by Tubbs, adopted
<br />by the following vote to-wit:

<br />The motion of Trustee MoPhee that when the proper time comes
<br />that the City Order Orange Avenue from Chestnut to the South
<br />line of Bishop St.,paved under specifications No.~2, was duly
<br />seconded by Trustee Greenlea~ and carried by the following
<br />vote: Ayes, Trustee~ MoPhee, Oreenleaf, and Visel.
<br />
<br />Noes, ?ruetees None. Not voting, Trustees Tubbs and Maryatt.

<br />carried, City Engineer Bonebrake was instructed to prep&re
<br />plans, specifications and profiles for paving French St. from
<br />
