<br />motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded by Greenleaf, accepted

<br />A¢oommuuioation from the League Calif. Municipalities, with
<br />ba~gee for the delegatee appointed to attend the convention
<br />to be held at Visalia Oct. 10th to 15th, was on motion of
<br />Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by McPhee and carried, ordered
<br />filed.

<br />A letter from A.H.Wright, City Clerk and President of the
<br />League of Calif. Municipalities, a~king this City to instruct
<br />its delegates to the Vlsalia Convention to support San Dlego'e
<br />invitation to hold the next League meeting in the latter City,
<br />was on motion of Trustee Oreenleaf, duly seconded by MoPhee and
<br />carried, ordered placed on file.

<br />Upon motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by MoPhee and carrie
<br />Dr. J.I.Clark, City Health Officer, is instructed to attend the
<br />State Board of Health Conference to be held mt Visalia Oct.~th
<br />to 14th, at the expense of the City.

<br /> A communication from Wm. Guthrie, Secy. of the Fire Pre~ention
<br /> Committee, asking that a celebration be held Oct. 9th with
<br /> exercises in all public schools wa~ on motion of Trustee Green-
<br /> leaf, duly seconded and carried, referred to the School Board.
