ORDINANCE NO. NS-2465 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA REZONING PROPERTY GENERALLY <br />LOCATED AT 1312 THROUGH 1336 WEST SANTA ANA <br />BOULEVARD FROM COMMUNITY COMMERCIAL (C1) TO <br />SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (R1) <br /> <br />BK: 3/28/01 <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br /> <br />Amendment Application No. 01-01 has been filed with the City of Santa <br />Ana to change the zoning district designation by the owner of certain real <br />property generally located at 1322 West Santa Ana Boulevard from <br />Community Commercial (C1) to Single-Family Residential (R1). At staffs <br />suggestion, this application was increased, in order to eliminate inconsistent <br />zoning designation, to change the zoning district designation of certain <br />real property generally located at 1312 through 1336 West Santa Ana <br />Boulevard from Community Commercial (C1) to Single-Family Residential <br />(R1) <br /> <br />The Planning Commission held a duly noticed public hearing on this matter, <br />a at its regular meeting of Mamh 12, 2001, At the conclusion of its <br />consideration, the Planning Commission voted unanimously 6:0 to <br />recommend that the City Council adopt this amendment. <br /> <br />This Council, prior to taking action on this ordinance, has held a duly <br />noticed public hearing, on Amendment Application No. 01-01. <br /> <br />The potential environmental impacts of this approval are adequately <br />evaluated in previously prepared Environmental Impact Report (EIR) No. <br />97-01. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The Single-Family Residential (R1) district designation as proposed <br />in Amendment Application No. 01-01, is hereby found and determined to be consistent <br />with the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana and otherwise justified by the public <br />necessity, convenience and general welfare. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That certain real property generally located at 1312 through 1336 <br />West Santa Ana Boulevard from Community Commercial (C1) to Single-Family <br />Residential (R1). <br /> <br />Ordinance No. NS-2465 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
