"Investigate"being inserted in place of "secure." <br /> <br />An offer from W.W. ,asset,manager Santa Aha Elks Band to furnish <br />19 men for any number of concerts which the Board may desire at <br />$65.00 per concert, was read, and on motion of Trustee Tubbs, <br />duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, it was decided to give <br /> <br />ten concerts beginning July <br />stated above. <br /> <br />4th and ending Sept. 5th at price <br /> <br />The appltcatlo~of C.N.Peacock and H.L. Groover for Jitney ltcens~ <br />accompanied by $10,0OO bonds each, with the Golden State Indemnit <br />Co. as surety, were on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded <br /> <br />by Maryett and carried, <br />President for approvs!. <br /> <br />license granted and bond referred to the <br /> <br />Communications-for the Pacific Electric Ry. officials in referenc, <br />to answering thee-City ~ttorney's request for an appointment to <br />discuss conditione of North Main St. bridge, the repairs and pav- <br />ing of West 4th St. and changing the location of their single <br />track on Maple Ave. from First to Chestnut to the center of said <br /> <br />portion of Street, were read and on motion of Trustee Tubbs,duly <br />seconded by ?~cPheef~ ordered received and placed on file for futuz~ <br />reference. <br /> <br />A communication from Attorney Bishop in reference to conditions <br />for paving West 4th St. from the West line of Baker to the East <br />line of Attests, was read and on motion of Trustee Haryatt,duly <br />seconded by Greenleaf and csmrted, was ordered received and plac- <br />ed on file. <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee Naryatt,duly seconded by Greenleaf snd <br />carried, the protest on paving West 4th St. from Baker to Attests <br /> <br />was denied. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee <br /> <br />the action taken May <br />Orange Ave. <br /> <br /> Greenleaf,duty seconded by Tubbs and carried <br /> <br />7th in reference to ordering the pavement cz <br />continued 100 ft. below Bishop St.,is hereby rescinde~ <br /> <br /> <br />
