City Hall, Santa Aha, Cal. Nov.l~,lglT, 7:30 p.m. Board met in regular session. Meeting called to order by President Vtsel. Present, Trustees Tubbs,MoPhee, Greenleaf, Maryatt, Minutes of Nov. Sth and 12th read and approved. Visel a~d the Clerk. In Re Complalnt,H.P.Rankin In Re Permit,O.H.Magill In Re Sidewalk,Hathaway St. In Re Sidewalk and curb,Richland and Highland In Re B.R.Crossings In Re Advertising for bids for fire hose In Re Booster Pump A communication from H.P.Rankln, complaining against the garbage contractor in refusing to haul rubbish not stated in his contract with the City, was read and on motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Maryatt, ordered received and placed on file. Upon motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Green- leaf, G.H.Magill was granted permission to operate a pop corn stand in front of hie place of business 406, E.4th St. under the following conditions: that the bench in front of the store be removed and pop corn stand be located in place thereof. Upon motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf, the petition for sidewalk and curb on both sides of Hathaway from 3rd to 4th and for 50 Ft. East of Hathaway on North side of 3rd Bt. wem granted. Upon motion of Trustee Tubbs, d~tly seconded by Greenleaf sidewalk and curb was ordered in mn both sides of Rich- land and Highland Sts. for 125 ft. West of Ross St. The committee appointed at la at meeting in reference to dangerous R.R. crossings on E.$anta Clara and Washington Ave. made the following report: That the City Attorney be instructed to notify both the Santa Fe Ry. and to install Wig Wag crossing signs at the following places, the Santa Fe at Santa Clara and S.P. at Washing- ton Ave. The committee also recommended that the walnut tree on the south side of the street next to the R.R. track be removed and that the County authorities eeo that the two trees on the North side of street be trimmed in order to give a better view of the track, on motion of Trustee Tubbe, drily seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the a~we reoommenda~ion was adopted. Upon motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Green- leaf, the Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids to furnish the Fire Dept. with 500 ft. of fire hose. Upon motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs, the bid of the American Pump Co. of $1100.00
