Bant. An., Cal. City Hall, Jan. ?th, ?;30 p,m. 191g. Board met in regular session. Meeting called to order by the Clerk. Present, Trustees Tubbs, McPhee, Greenleaf, Absent, President Vtsel. and Maryatt. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs aud carried, appointed President pro rem. Minutes of Dec. l?th and 19th read and approved. Trustee Maryatt in Re R.R.Grade crossings in Re Jitney license in Re Application for permission tO operate auto stage in Re Application for plumber's In Re Permit,!~s.Ethel Baker In Re Petition for increase in salary In Re Monthly reports A communication from the State Railroad Commission calling the attention of the Board that no a~tion had been taken in the Railroad crossing grade report No.450,covering cross- ings of the P.E. railroad in this City. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf, the Clerk was instructed to write the R.R.Commission informing them that a committee had been appointed on the matter. The applications of 26 Jitney Operators for renewal licenses accompanied by bonds of $10,000 each with the Western Indem- nity Co. as surety, were on motion of Trustee Gr..hi.al, duly seconded by Tubbs, license granted and bonds z~$erred to the President of the Board for approval. The application of Millard/an~dd Scott Prather for permission to operate an auto stage line between this City and Tustin ~on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs the hearing in this matter was set for Jan. 21st,1918, at ?:30 pm The application of E.E. Wood for a plumber's license accomp- license anied by a $500.00 bond with M.F. Doig and C.MoNeil a~ sureties, was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs, license granted and bond referred to the President of the Board for approval. # On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Gte,hi.al,the Clerk was instructed to grant a free license to Mfs.Ethel Baker, in order that she might sell home made candy. A petition signed by the paid members of the Fire Dept. for an increase in salary, was read and on motion of Trustee Tubb duly seconded by Greenleaf, same was referred to a committee, the P.i~- appointing Trustees Tubbs and Greenleaf as such committee. The monthly reports of the Building Inspector, Marshal, McPhee, Recorder and were on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by referred to the Finance committee.
