On motion of Trustee <br /> Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf, the Clerk was instructed <br /> to write the R.R.Commission informing them that a committee <br /> had been appointed on the matter. <br /> <br /> The applications of 26 Jitney Operators for renewal licenses <br /> accompanied by bonds of $10,000 each with the Western Indem- <br /> nity Co. as surety, were on motion of Trustee Gr..hi.al, duly <br /> seconded by Tubbs, license granted and bonds z~$erred to the <br /> President of the Board for approval. <br /> <br /> The application of Millard/an~dd Scott Prather for permission <br /> to operate an auto stage line between this City and Tustin <br /> ~on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs the <br /> hearing in this matter was set for Jan. 21st,1918, at ?:30 pm <br /> <br /> The application of E.E. Wood for a plumber's license accomp- <br />license anied by a $500.00 bond with M.F. Doig and C.MoNeil a~ <br /> <br /> sureties, was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded <br /> by Tubbs, license granted and bond referred to the President <br /> of the Board for approval. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Gte,hi.al,the <br /> Clerk was instructed to grant a free license to Mfs.Ethel <br /> Baker, in order that she might sell home made candy. <br /> <br /> A petition signed by the paid members of the Fire Dept. for <br /> an increase in salary, was read and on motion of Trustee Tubb <br /> duly seconded by Greenleaf, same was referred to a committee, <br /> the P.i~- appointing Trustees Tubbs and Greenleaf as such <br /> committee. <br /> <br /> The monthly reports of the Building Inspector, <br /> <br /> Marshal, <br /> <br />McPhee, <br /> <br /> Recorder and <br /> <br /> were on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by <br />referred to the Finance committee. <br /> <br /> <br />
