On motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by <br />Maryatt a~d carried, same was approved. <br /> <br />Mr.J~.ILiebig of the C. of C, was Before the Board in refer- <br />amce to the City furnishing some assista~oe in cleaning up <br />the cemetery. On motion of Trustee MoPhee,duly seconded By <br />Maryatt and carried, Street Supt. O'Brien was instructed to <br />take the grader,tyo teams and a couple of men and give what- <br />ever assistance possible to ma~e the cemetery presentable <br />for Decoration Day. <br /> <br />Upon motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Maryatt a~d <br />carried, the Bid of the Niohol~s-Loomis Co. of Los A~gelee, <br />to furnish 60 tone of No.1 local, Petrie or Corona Baled <br />Barley hay at $24.50 scale weight^and 30 tons of No.1 local <br />Perris or Corona ~falfa hay at $24.00 so~e weight/f.o.b. <br />o~a S~ta ~a, with one o~ of each to be shipped ~ s~ple <br />~b~ce to be the ~e u ~ple <br /> <br /> On motion cf Trustee MoPhee, that It is the ~ense of the Bo~d <br /> to ~t permission to P.A.Robinson to install wagon ac~ee <br /> on the North side of Stafford St. ~out ~0 ft. E~t of the <br /> ~.P. tr~k~ ~der proper installation. Thompson in the opening of Weot Walnut St. u~dert' <br />the following contract of agreement. "This contract of agree- <br />ment made and entered into in duplicate form, By and Between <br /> <br />John S.Thompson, AAddie Thompson, hie wife, parties of the <br />first part, a~d the City of Santa Ama, California, party Of the <br />second part, that for and in consideration of the considera- <br />tion hereinafter named, the parties of the first part, <br />to transfer and set over to the p~rty of the second part~ for <br />street purposes, the North 15 feet of Lot 31,Block '0' of <br />McFadden & Crane's Addition to the City of Santa A~a. <br />That in consideration therefor the party of the second part <br />agrees t~ widen the street on Walnut in front of the property <br />remaining to the party of the first part, and to construct <br />a cement curbing to conform w~h the South line of Walnut St. <br />and to construct a ~ foot cement sidewalk along and past the <br />property remaining to the parties of the first part. <br />Parties of the first part to have trees for wood.· <br /> <br />A.M.Davis, Scout Master of the Boy Scouts, was Before the <br />Board and made application for City ~ater free of charge <br />for irrigation pu~poees~ <br /> <br /> <br />
