8amta Aha, City Hall, Jan.6th,1919, 7:30 p.m. Board met in regular session. Meeting called to order by President Visel. Present, Trustees, Tubbs,McPhee,Greenleaf,Maryatt and the Clerk. Minutes of Dec. 16th and 21st, read and approved. In Re Communication S.A.~usical Ass'n. Yn Re Request for Street Lighting In Re Application Rooming House D.W.Emmett license In Re application Restaursnt license ~rs.C.B.Nichols A communication from the Santa Aha Musical Association giving an itemized statement of expensez incurred in connection with the Christmas community service was read and on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by McPhee, accepted and ordered filed. # The request of W.B.Langford for a street light to be installed on Bristol half way between Hiokey and 5th Bt. was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs, referred to a committee, Trustees Greenleaf and Maryatt being appointed as such committee. The application of D.W. Emmett for a license to conduct a rooming house at 40g SpumgeOn et.the Rutgers, was referred to the Police Committee, on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by McPhee and carried. The application of Mrs. C.B. Nickole to conduct a restaurant at 303 N.Sycamore St., was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by McPhee referred to a committee, Trustees Tubbs and MoPhee being appointed as such committee. # In Re The application of Appointment J.W.Watters,Pound Naster Pound Master was J.W.Wattere for the appointment as g~anted on motion of Trustee Maryatt dudy seconded by McPhee and carried. In Re The bond of Geo. W.Smith to Bond, Geo.W. Smith, sewer, cement sidewalk and In Re do private contracting fer curbing construction with E.P.Stafford and H.L.Hanson, as sureties, was on motion of Trustee Tubbs. duly seconded by McPhee, referred to the President of the Board for approval. # The application of Chae. E.Dixon for the renewal of Applic~tion C.E.Dixon,Jltney license In Re Hom$ ~el.Fr~nchise Tax two Jitney licenses between this City and Huntington Beach accompanied by $10,O00 bcndseaoh, was on motion of Trustee MoPhee, duly seconded by Tubbs, license granted and ~onds referred to the President of the Board fo~ approval. # On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs, settlement of the Home Tel.Co. for $154.31 franchise tax from the l?th of Novembsr,l~l?,to Sept.~Oth,191g, was accepted and Street Supt. instructed to return to them the $30 d~poslted with him.
