On motion of Trustee Maryatt, duly seconded <br />by Greenleaf, the matter was referred to a committee, <br />Trustees McPhee, Greenleaf, and Tubbs, and City <br />Attorney Scott being appointed as such committee. <br /> <br />A communication from the Santa Aha Womans' Club in <br />reference to piping gas in Birch Sark to be used <br />for picnics, was on motion of Trustee Tubba,duly <br />seconded by MoPhee, referred to the Park Commission. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />The application of W.R. Carman for appointment aa <br />Police Detective was referred to the committee on <br />police, upon motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly <br />seconded by Maryatt and carried. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by MoPhee, <br />the statement from the P.E.Ry. Co. accompanied by & <br />voucher for $210,4),amount due the city under Fran~hise <br />Tax Ordinance $414, was accepted, and Clerk instructed <br />to deposit same with the Treasury. <br /> <br />The bond_of C.F.Havene for private contract for con- <br />struc~ion of cement sidewalks and curbing with A.C.Bower <br />and J.T.Wool as sureties, was on motion of Trustee Tubbe <br />duly seconded by Greenleaf, bond was referred to the <br />President of the Board for approval and permit granted <br />when the necessary $50.00 is deposited with the Street <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tuoos, duly seconded by MoPhee <br /> <br />Mrs. C.B.Nicholls was gr_~nted a license to conduct m <br />restaurant at 303 N.Sycamore St. subject to the pleasure <br />of the Board . <br /> <br /> The complaint of Ed.M.Bachman in reference to the <br /> condition left him property after being used for a <br /> by-pass while building the North Main Bt. bridge, was <br /> on motion of Trustee McPhee, duly seconded by Tubbe, <br /> referred to the Street Supt. and to report at next <br /> <br />meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
