12 Santa Ana, City Hall, June 9th, 1919, ?:30 p.m. Board met in regular adjourned session. Meeting called to order by the Clerk. Present,Trustees Tubbs, Chapman, Dale and Greenlsa£. Absent, President Mitchell. In Re President pro tern In Re Application pool license, M. Rom zoom In Re City School Water In Re Request of A1.G.Comer, revival tent In Re Request Frank J.Peard In Re Report, Street Supt. Edinger St. paving In Re Insurance City Hall Bldg. In Re Denying petition for street light on Bristol Chapman, denied, under Ordinance A communication On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman, Trustee Greenleaf was appointed President pro rem. # The application of M.Rom at ~09 North Sycamore St. duly seconded by Dale power to act. The application from the School Bosmd pertaining to the use of free water for the City schools, was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman, referred to a committee to report at neet regular meeting, Trustees Chapman, Dale and Water Supt. Wray were appointed as such committee. # The request of A1 G.Comer to erect a tent on Block g, Original City lots, for the purpose of holding revival meetings, was on motion of Trustee Tubbs,duly seconded by under present location, being prohibited 6s5. to conduct a pool and billiard hall was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, referred to the Police Committee with addressed to Trustee Chapman of Frank J.Peard requesting an interview pertaining to establishing a manu- fact~tring business. On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Dale, referred to the Industrial Committee of the Chamber of Commerce. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman and carried, the written report of Street Supt. Hoy stating that wells and Bressler had completed the paving of Edinger St. aa per their contract, dated Feb. 27th,1919, and recommending that same be acce~ted and opened to the public on acceptance by the Board of Supervisors of their portion of said street. Same was ordered filed as a matter of record. On motion of Trustee Dale, duly seconded by Chapman, the matter of re-insuring of the City Hall Building with the Firemens Insurance Co. with Chas. B.Morgan as Agent,was referred to the Chair with power to act. # The Committee appointed some time ago in reference to the petition of property owners for a street light on Bristol half way between Washington Ave. and l?th ets. reported that same was impossible under the present contract with the So. Cai.Edison Co. as more than ?00 ft. of construction work
