Board met in regular adjourned session. Meeting called to order by the Clerk. Present, Trustees Tubbs, Chapman,Dale and Greenleaf. Absent President Mitchell. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dale appointed President pro tam. Santa Ana, Cal. City Hall, July 14, 1919. 7:3o p.m. and carrie~,Trustee Greenlesuf was In Re Permit to hang signs In Re Notice to eradlcste Johnson grass In Re Permit C.I. Talbott Auto shed In Re Permit to close E.Sth and Nortimar The application of J.G. Robertson Elec. Cc. to re-hang electric signs at the corner of 4th and Broadway and the corner of 5th on motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by granted under the supervision of the City and Borad'~ay, was Dale and carried, Electrician. A notice from Eeml L.~orris, Orange limits, by Chapman, same was ordered filed, pending the weed law. On motion of Trustee Chapman ,duly C.I.Talbott was granted permission property of L.O.Vaughn on the East £nd Streets, On motion of Horticultural Commissioner for County to eradicate all Johnson grass within the City was read and on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded the enforcement of seconded by Dale and carried, to erect an auto shed on the side of Bush between ~rd and dame to be used for parking autos. Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Dale and ca~ied, Steele Finley was from the East line line of Porter St. St. granted permission to close East 7th St. of French St. to lO0 ft. East of the East and Mortimer St. from the North line of 4th to South line o~ ~th St. in order to pave said portions of street. # In Re On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Permit to close Maple Ave. was granted permission to close Maple Ave. In Re Supplies,Water Dept. In Re Order to dra? warrant Layne & Bowler In Re Sewer & Water Conditions Shaw-Rumsel 1 Tract Chapman, Steel Finley from the South line of First St. to the North line of Chestnut Ave. in order to pave said portion of street and City Atty. Scott instructed to so notify the P.E.Ry. officials to that effect. On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Dale and carried, Water Supt. Wray was authorized to purchase the follo~'ing supplies for the l~th ~t. well, Pump, Motor and belt. # On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chspmsn and carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw a warrsnt on the Treasurer in favor of Layne & Bowler Co.for the ~urchaee of a pump. motor and belt less 3% for to sign the same.
