On motion of Trustee Tubbs, farted to # duly seconded by Ch~mani ! and carried, the invitation from the Library Board i~- vlting the Board ~o the opening for inspection of the improvement of t~e Santa Aha PuOlic Library on October 2Otb, from ?: to ~: P. M. was accepted with thanks. # On motion of Trustee Tub~, duly seconded by Chapman and carried permission was granted under the super- vision of the Street Committee and~reet Supt. to James Finley of the Santa Aha High School to erect a banner aorces the corners of Fourth and Main adver tieing Foot ball games. On motion o f T~metee Tubbs, duly seconded by Green- leaf and carried, City Atty. Scott was instructed to attend the State R. R. Commission hearing to be held in Los Angeles, Octoher 20th, 1920, in the matter of the application of the Southern Counties Gas Company for an increase in its rates for Industris~ Ga~. On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Green leaf and carried, the Bond of~. E. Fluor for $500. with J. $. Fluor and H. A. Gardner as sureties to do private contract cement sidewalt .and curbing was re- the chair for approval.
