Machinery Company <br />for furnishing the ~treet Department 1-5 Point Klllefer <br />Rooter for $775.00 and one Ki~lefer Road Disc $~75.00 <br />was accepted, and the Clerk was instructed to return cer- <br />tified checks to unsuccessful bidders. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded bM Chapman <br />and carried, the bid of ~ells and Breesler for 1~ per <br />sq. ft. for paving approximately 6,~00 sq, ft.-~" <br />Portland Cement Concrete pavement 1-2-4 mixture with <br />steel trowel finish and 45~ per lineal ft. Approximately <br />360 lineal ft. was accepted and City Attorney instructed <br />to prepare necessary contract for s~me. <br /> <br />On motion o£ Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Dale and <br />carried, Wells and Bresalar'e bid of 18~ per sq. ft. <br />according to i~em one in their proposal for paving the <br />base on W. ~lnut fronting on Polytechnic High ~chool, <br />between Rose and Par ton Streets, and the bid of Steele <br />~ln]ey of ~ according to item two in hie proposal for <br />laying of an asphalt concrete wearing surface for the <br />moore portion of paving was accepted and City Attorney <br />instructed to prepare necessary contract. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Greenlesf duly seconded by Dhle <br /> mhd carried, all bids received for paving E. Walnut <br /> fronting on Roosevelt School, between Orange and ~aple <br /> Avenues were rejected and Clerk instructed to return <br /> the certified checks to unsuccessful bidders. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Tubbs <br /> and carried, Wells and Br~elar were granted permission <br /> to circulate a contract for paving the base for street <br /> paving on the following streets: Walnut from Birch to <br /> Par ton, and Roes from First to Walnut-and Steele Finley <br /> was granted pe~mission to circulate a contract for the <br /> wearing surface for the above portion of streets. <br /> <br /> <br />
