Friedman was granted a li- <br />cense to do a junking business with the understand- <br />ing that no Junk is to be stored at his plac~ of <br />residence 610 W. 2nd Street. <br /> <br />In the matter of the application of Ida L. Quivez <br />for a license to conduct a restaurant at 30~ N. <br />Froadway, was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly <br />seconded by Chapman and carried, referred to the <br />Sanitary Inspector and Fire Chief for recommendations. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chap- <br /> <br />man and carried, Steele Finley was granted a permit <br />to circulate a pStition to pave Hickory Street <br />from First to Chestnut under specifications No. gO, <br />Revised. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Attorney Chas. Swanr, ar was before the Board and pre- <br />sented a petition signed by a large number of <br />names asking the Board for re-consideration in its <br />action in revoking the permit granted to Messers. <br />McCoy and Wolford to give ~oxlng exhioitlons in the <br />Grand Opera House. On motionof Trustee Dale duly <br />Aeconded by Greenleaf and carried the matter was <br />finally referred to the Board as a committee of the <br />whole. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by <br /> <br />Dale and carried, all water and sewer connections <br /> <br /> made e¢ecord by the Water <br />a~ould <br /> be <br /> located <br /> and <br /> <br />and Sewer Supt. before the oaring of a Street. <br /> <br />0.'~ motion of Trustee Dale duly seconded by Tubbs <br /> <br />and carried, T. W. Klmbal] was appointed a Firs <br />Truek Driver to succeed R. E. B=ltz, resigned. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chapman duly seconded by Dele <br />and carried, the request of J. A. Kern for a permit <br />to remove the Sheet Iron BuildinE at 212½ N. <br /> <br /> <br />
