Core,oilY, Iancing I~ Re Permit ~.alter [~rby, Dil ~tation Petition, tc C~o- ~ AI~ ~y, Zlosk On motion of Trustee Tubbs duly seconded by Chap- man and caroled the Rob=trion Electric Company were granted permission to hang electric signs at th~ followln& places: Two signs at the New Roesmore Hotel, one at the Electric Garage, corner 3rd and French, and one at 310 E. 4th Street, ~ayo ~achine Company, and one for J. C. Hawkins 416 W. 4th Street. All permits granted under the supervision of the C~ty Electrician and in com- pliance with the City Ordinance· On motion of Trustee Dale duly seconded by Green- leuf an~ oarri=d the application of tt~e Cali- fornia new and second hand furniture company for a license to ,~o business at 520 F. 4th Street was referred to the Police Committee ~nd the Sanitary Inspector. . On ,notion of Trustee TuO~s, Greenleaf and carried, k. A. duly seconded by Con~olly was granted a permit to ~ive Assembly dances, commencing Friday gay 31et, and every Friday evening there- after at Connolly's Academy of Dancing, 3rd and 9purgeon Streets· Permit granted subject to the pleasure of the Board. On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Dale and carried, Walter Deroy was granted a per- fire mit to ~u~ld m semi,proof ouilding ~nd shed for an oil station an~ Auto parking, at ~01 Bush St. unde~ the supervision of the Building Inspector and Fire Chief. In the matter of the petition of the Roman Catholic ~isnop of ~onteray and Los Angeles, to clo£= the alley in Block ~3, Town of Santa Ana,~ was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapm~n and carried, referred to a committee to retort at next meeting. Trustees Tuoos, Chapman an~ Eale being apro~nted as such committee.
