C. Hawkins <br />416 W. 4th Street. All permits granted under the <br />supervision of the C~ty Electrician and in com- <br />pliance with the City Ordinance· <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dale duly seconded by Green- <br />leuf an~ oarri=d the application of tt~e Cali- <br />fornia new and second hand furniture company <br />for a license to ,~o business at 520 F. 4th Street <br />was referred to the Police Committee ~nd the <br /> <br />Sanitary Inspector. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On ,notion of Trustee TuO~s, <br /> <br />Greenleaf and carried, k. A. <br /> <br />duly seconded by <br /> <br /> Con~olly was granted <br /> <br />a permit to ~ive Assembly dances, commencing <br />Friday gay 31et, and every Friday evening there- <br />after at Connolly's Academy of Dancing, 3rd and <br />9purgeon Streets· Permit granted subject to the <br />pleasure of the Board. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by <br /> <br />Dale and carried, Walter Deroy was granted a per- <br /> fire <br />mit to ~u~ld m semi,proof ouilding ~nd shed for <br /> <br />an oil station an~ Auto parking, at ~01 Bush St. <br />unde~ the supervision of the Building Inspector <br />and Fire Chief. <br /> <br />In the matter of the petition of the Roman <br />Catholic ~isnop of ~onteray and Los Angeles, to <br />clo£= the alley in Block ~3, Town of Santa Ana,~ <br />was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by <br />Chapm~n and carried, referred to a committee to <br />retort at next meeting.
